Medium-term Planning Sheets

These medium-term planning sheets will save you time preparing the Literacy Hour using Literacy Land books from Story Street, Genre Range and Info Trail.
There are individual planning sheets for years one to six, with each document split into terms.
Editable Microsoft Word versions of the documents are provided to allow you to tailor the chart to your particular class and schedule.
PDF versions are also provided. These will give a clearer lay-out to each page.

NLS

Scottish Curriculum

Compatible with the English 5-14 Guidelines, Literacy Land covers all main areas of the curriculum including: development of reading skills; knowledge about language, awareness and experience of different genre, reading for information and assessment.
